Antofagasta Terminal Internacional has operated the concession for Berth No. 2 since 2003 and recently extended its concession until 2033.

ATI S.A. begins operating Berth No. 2
June 2004
First mandatory concession project:
facilities for storage and transfer of mineral concentrates.
July 2005
Second mandatory concession project:
improvement and expansion of sites 4-5.
2011
Throughput record: we exceeded 3 million tons during the year.
April 2013
ATI is awarded 19-year contract with Sierra Gorda SCM for the reception, storage and transfer of copper concentrate.
October 2014
Concession is extended for another 10 years thanks to approval of the Site 7 North Expansion Project.
January 2016
ATI signs Clean Production Agreement (CPA):

2016
ATI begins quantifying emissions to measure its carbon footprint.
May 2017
ATI begins concentrate shipment operations using rotainer technology.
2018
AC3 service Maersk vessel docks (length 334 m., beam 43 m. 8,600 TEUs).
2021
ATI begins process of cultural change in safety.
2022
ATI recycles 77% of its waste, the highest figure in its history.
