LEARN MORE ABOUT ATI

Who are we?

In 2003, the Port Authority of Antofagasta (EPA) granted the concession of Berth No. 2 of the Port of Antofagasta to ATI. This concession confirms the mining role of the port. It is defined as an open-access port and must provide services for Bolivian cargo according to the 1904 Treaty of Peace and Friendship (mainly zinc and lead). It also required the construction of the first enclosed warehouse in Chile for storing mineral concentrates, called the Bulk Mineral Shipping Terminal (TEGM).

Is ATI a public or private port?

ATI is a concessioned terminal of the Port of Antofagasta, operated by Hanseatic Global Terminals.

Which sites does ATI operate?

ATI has a total area of 9.85 hectares and operates sites 4, 5, 6, and 7. Its facilities not only meet the requirements of the concession contract but also follow a continuous improvement process to stay up to date in port operations.
